The European International Model United Nations (TEIMUN Foundation) is a student organization which aims to educate students on the workings of the United Nations. The Foundation organizes several conferences and workshops throughout the year, and participates in other conferences to meet this goal.
The principal event is the TEIMUN conference. This seven-day conference, which will be held from the 21th until the 27th of July 2014, is hosted in The Hague. During this conference, 250 students from all over the world will have the opportunity to experience the workings and decision-making processes of the United Nations and NATO through role-playing in one of the simulated councils. Through sparkling debates and intensive back-room discussions, participants gain a more thorough understanding of multilateral diplomacy in world affairs. Moreover, this simulation will greatly enhance public speaking and debating skills.
The one thing that truly sets TEIMUN apart from other conferences, are the strong social activities throughout the week. We have an exciting social program filled with interesting excursions and fabulous parties. Because of this, participants from various countries will in the end get to know each other very well. Click here for more information about the main conference.
The subscriptions for both GrunnMUN and TEIMUN will open on the 1st of January 2014!
