Yiqun Wang
Born in China, and having lived in Budapest and Amsterdam, Yiqun Wang is currently reading a BA in International Relations and International Organizations at the University of Groningen. Chair of the Student Council in her High School, Board of a student sport association in Groningen and member of the oldest fraternity/sorority in The Netherlands, she has been exploring the social aspects in her life with joyous vivacity.
Her interests include: travelling, exploring new cultures, reading, literature, music, playing the piano, spending time with her family and hosting small social gatherings with her friends. Furthermore, she has also engaged in voluntary and charitable work. Yiqun participated twice as a delegate at TEIMUN: in 2008 representing Argentina in the General Assembly and in 2009 representing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Security Council. Recently, Yiqun co-chaired the Security Council at GrunnMUN 2010.
