Credits - ECTS

The Board of TEIMUN is working together with different departments of the University of Groningen to make it possible for students to receive credits for their participation in TEIMUN. Below you can find the necessary information.
 

Please be aware that this ECTS-Arrangement is provided as an extra possibility for students of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in The Netherlands. A guarantee to make use of the ECTS-Arrangement cannot be given. One should subscribe to the ECTS-Arrangement at least one week prior to the TEIMUN Conference in order to maximize the possibilities and chances of acceptance to the TEIMUN ECTS-Arrangement.

 

Students of the Bachelor History
For students studying History at the Faculty of Arts (Letteren) of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen we have an agreement which has been implemented for a number of years already and it works very well. History students can earn 5 ECTS for their participation in TEIMUN. For further information, please contact the secretary of the board: p.kuhlmann@teimun.org.

 

Students of the Bachelor International Relations & Organisations (IR/IO)
For students studying IR/IO at the Faculty of Arts (Letteren) of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen there is also an agreement. In order to earn the ECTS they have to ask permission from the Examination Committee. They can either receive ECTS or replace International Negotiation by their participation in TEIMUN. Students of the Bachelor International Law & European Law
For students studying International law at the Faculty of Law (rechten) of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the TEIMUN ECTS-Arrangement will be made possible for students participating at TEIMUN 2012. However, students can receive ECTS by participating at TEIMUN 2011 as well. For further information, please contact the secretary of the board: p.kuhlmann@teimun.org.

 

Students of the Bachelor Human Geography and Spatial Planning
For students who study at the faculty of Spatial Science at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, TEIMUN has become a course of 5 ECTS in both bachelor programs.
