Opening Ceremony
We are pleased to announce that the opening ceremony for TEIMUN 2010 will take place in de 'Koninklijke Schouwburg' (Royal theatre)
The Royal Theater opened in 1804 under the name ‘the new theater of the Hague’. It was led by the bourgeousie of the city. In 1841 it was renamed the Royal Theater when it became in the possession of King Willem II. Under his ownership, he gave Dutch theater and French opera the unique opportunity to flourish in The Netherlands.
It 1999 the theater was renovated and reopened. Since then, it functions as one of the main theaters in the city if The Hague.
Conference Location
This year TEIMUN will be held in the Mondriaan College in the heart of The Hague.
