Monday 5th of July
Openingsceremony
During this ceremony TEIMUN 2010 will be officially opened! The Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Secretary General will welcome the delegates. In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. M. Verhagen and the Former Minister of Finance, Mr.G.Zalm will share their opinions on the theme of the conference ‘Rise & Fall, challenging the ongoing processes of history’.
Tuesday 6th of July
Diner with your Council
Have a lovely diner with your fellow council members. Get to know each other over delicious food and drinks! Integrate, make new friends and have fun!
Theme party @ The Haagse Kluisch
Get those feet moving and show of your dancing skills! This party promises to be a fan-tas-tic opening!
Wednesday 7th of July
Global Village
Bring your most special national food and share it with all your fellow delegates. This is the night were you can taste all the flavors of the world! Dress up in your national clothes and show off your cultural dances!
Football Night
This evening one of the semi-finals of the World Cup will be played. We have arranged a wonderful night for you. After the Global Village the match will be shown on a large screen in the General Assembly! Food and drinks will be served!
Thursday 8th of July
Orange party @ the Rootz
Dutch people dress up in their national colour orange every year on the 31st of May to honor their Queen. This year we will be celebrating the Dutch Royalty during TEIMUN! Put on all your Orange clothes and feel like the Dutch! This is the night were you can show your dancing skills beat the Dutch’!
Saturday 10th of July
BBQ & Beach Party, Caribean Style @ Whoosah Beach Club
This evening is the last, but definitely not the least, party of the week! This is the famous (or notorious..) Beach Party! It will take place in Scheveningen. You are all welcome to join us for the BBQ before the party. And don’t forget to cheer for the board during the Annual Football Match between the board and the staff of TEIMUN 2010!
Sunday 11th of July
Closingsceremony
During this closingsceremony there will be a very exclusive performance of the famous comedy group ‘Boom Chicago’ in 'Het Paard van Troje'. Afterwards, your chairs will announce who have earned the diplomacy awards for their excellent performance during TEIMUN 2010. In addition the 'Participation Certificate' will be handed out to all the delegates.
